Haley Jennings, a graduating senior this year received a full scholarship to Ballet West this summer and accepted a trainee position at Ballet West this year.

Katie Rotz 14, of Bethel Park, received a full scholarship for the prestigious School of American Ballet for the second year in a row. Katie Rotz, was one of 9 dancers from Pittsburgh Youth Ballet Company School to compete in the Youth American Grand Prix, and was invited along with her PYBC classmates to perform in the YAGP New York City finals.

PYBCO Alumni Allison DeBona from the CW's 'Breaking Pointe' returns to teach at Summer Intensive Program July 16-20

Allison DeBona is one of the stars on the new CW series “Breaking Pointe”. She will be teaching several ballet/Pointe classes a day at Pittsburgh Youth Ballet School for the first week in PYBC's Summer Intensive Program July 16-20 2012. Spaces are still available. Allison DeBona (in white) is pictured performing in George Balanchine's ® “Walpurgisnacht Ballet” as a Pittsburgh Youth Ballet Company Dancer. She studied and performed at PYBC for five years. This photo is from a Pittsburgh Youth Ballet Company performance when she was 18 years old at the Byham Theater, Pittsburgh PA.
