This exceptional repertoire inspires our dancers and audiences and has been made possible, in part, by grants from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, Allegheny Regional Asset District, The Rockwell Foundation and the Pittsburgh Ballet Guild, among others.

Our repertoire also includes newly commissioned works such as PYBC's own original story ballet, Who Owns the Sun?, narrated by James Earl Jones. Pittsburgh Youth Ballet Company showcased world premiers from a gamut of talented choreographers, from the internationally acclaimed Daryl Gray's Signatures and Good Gracious Gershwin to Paul Abrahamson's interpretive Already it is Dusk to Ruth Leney-Midkiff's imaginative Winston, Figurations, Bonnie Wi' Thyme and Robert Steele's

Symphonia and ...In Passing.

Nearly 95% of all costumes are furnished by The PYB Company.
